PYRAMID WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL PENNSYLVANIA ALLOWS NON-ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES TO REOPEN

We are complying with state government mandated closures of non-essential businesses. Active members will be compensated with extended membership privileges for a length commensurate with the amount of time that we are closed.

A message from our team

To Our Community:

On March 16, we took the preemptive step of temporarily closing our club, in the hopes of doing our part to flatten the curve before reopening this Saturday, March 28th. Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, as well as Pennsylvania's mandated closure of non-life-sustaining businesses (which includes all gyms), it would be illegal and unethical for us to reopen tomorrow as we had initially planned.

Immediately after this mandate is lifted, we will reopen better than ever, taking every precaution imaginable to maintain exceptional club hygiene. Additionally, we will be crediting all active members with free membership privileges, commensurate in length with the amount of time that we must remain closed. We will have more information about this in the coming days and weeks, as we receive more information from government and public health officials.

We've been so inspired by the ways in which our community has grown closer while being apart. From the creation of groups like Keen-Agers Staying Active and Social Distancing Exercise Community to the live streams of our Group Fitness Classes, our members and instructors have come together to prioritize wellness and friendship. This is an embodiment of our ethos, and we will be doubling down on these efforts until we are able to reopen.

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support throughout these unprecedented circumstances. This time has been hard on us, both as a small business reliant on people coming to our club and as humans who enjoy the close relationships we have with our members. But these burdens pale in comparison to those placed upon members of our healthcare community, those in life-sustaining businesses who risk their health for our continued function, and those who have been directly affected by this virus.

Together, we will overcome this to become stronger than ever. In the meantime, we will do our very best to be positive, supportive, and resourceful for you.

Yours in continued health,
PYRAMID Staff
